National Parks In North East

1) Kaziranga National Park :- 

It is situated at Golaghat & Nagaon district in about 430 square km on the gorge of river Bhramaputra. In 1985 it was announced as a world heritage site by UNESCO because two third community of one horned rhinos are present in this national park. This national park is opened for the tourist from the month of November To April also tourist can explore this park through jeep safari. 2) Manas National Park :-

    Early in the morning ( 4 : 00 AM ) En-route Tiger Hills ( 8,400 ft. ) to experience amazing sunrise from Mount. Khangchendzongha at height of ( 28,208 ft ) counted in worlds 3rd largest highest peak. On way back from Tiger Hill pay a visit to Ghum Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast proceed to Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden, Rope way and Japanese Temple. After done full day sight seeing went back to accommodation, Overnight stay and dinner at Hotel.


    1) MOUNT KHANGCHENDZONGHA :- Darjeeling is famous for the hilly mountains and cool weather among travelers and known as the “Queen of the hills”. The Mt. Khangchendzongha lies between the two states hills named Nepal & Sikkim and situated at height of ( 28,208 ft ) counted in worlds 3rd largest highest peak. Watching sunrise from this mountain peak is worth and unforgettable experience.

    2) GHUM MONASTERY :- This monastery is established in the mid of 17th century by the Mongolian Astrologer & Monk Sherab Gyatso. Ghum monsatery is also known as the name of Yiga Choeling, the attraction of the monastery is 15 feet long statue of Maitreya Buddha.

    3) BATASIA LOOP :- It is situated on ( NH 55 ) approx. 5 KM distance from the main Darjeeling Town, you can reach there by cab & toy train both. The place is covered with the beautiful flowers and shrubs. Batasia Loop will provide you the best view of Darjeeling town along with mountains peaks covered with the snow which looks amazing and make your journey wanderlust.

    4) P.N. ZOOLOGICAL PARK :- It is located in Darjeeling Town covered with the land area approx 67 Acres and at an elevation of 7,000 feet. This zoo is named as Padmaja Naidu Zoo in 1975 and also known as the Darjeeling zoo. Every year large number of tourist visit this zoo because of highest altitude zoo location in India . Many endangered animals and bird species found here.

    5) JAPANESE TEMPLE :- It is situated at Jalapahar hill area 2 Km distance from the main Darjeeling Town.     Pelling sight-seeing is divided into two parts, morning after breakfast proceed to visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water Falls,  Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls before aftermoon. The view of mountain Khangchendzonga provide tremendous picturesque from the monatsery.

    3) RABDENSTE RUINS :-To reach Rabdenste Ruins it will take 1 Km trekking while crossing through forest densed with trees after completing the 1 km trek you find that the Rabdenste Ruins which provide one of the best picturesque of snowed mountains which look wonderful. This is an extremely well maintained archaeological site that reveals what remains of a huge palace complex of the 1700s, and shows the strength of the fortifications, its prime defensive location, and its stunning views

    1) TEMI TEA GARDEN :- Temi Tea Garden establishment was done by the Sikkim Government in mid of 18th century ( 1969 ). It was mesmerizing to see the Temi tea garden filled with greenery all side. When you walk inside the garden, the entire garden looked so beautiful. Among the mountains and beautiful tea leaves you lost your heart.The ladies plucking the tea leaves were look angels while they walk in gardens. There were white flags making the place look serene enthralled with beauty.

    2) SIDDHESHWAR DHAM :- It is located solophok hill just 5 km distance from the Namchi main town. A 108 feet tall Lord’s Shiva statue in sitting posture is built which attract the tourist and encircled with 12 Jyotilingas which is present in India in 4 different places and direction East, West, North, South also known as Char Dhaam. Tourist must have visit this temple while visiting this temple you very peaceful vibes.

    Day 6 Gangtok Local Sight Seeing

    At morning after breakfast proceed to visit Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). After full day sight seeing went back to hotel, rest for the day. Dinner & Overnight stay at Gangtok.


    1) TASHI VIEW POINT :- It is located approx 8 km from the main Gangtok town and provide one of the best mountains picturesque. Sunrise & Sunset view is look wonderful when colors of peaks changes according to sunlight and weather. Shops of gifts and snacks also available at tashi view point.

    2) DO – DRUL CHORTEN :- It is established in the year of 1945 by the Trulshik Rinpoche. This tall statue is built by the Tibetan Buddhist head and surrounded by the 108 mantras written in Tibetan language also many holy books, reilcs are kept inside the stupa.

    3) ENCHEY MONASTERY GANGTOK :- This monastery is well known for the Chinese pagoda design style and built in middle of 17th century ( 1840 ) by the Chogyal. The monastery have a peaceful well maintained library and colorful flags hoisted all over the monetary.

    Day 7 Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir | Gangtok

    At morning after breakfast En-route to sight seeing of Tsomgo Lake ( 12,400 feet ) and Baba Mandir (13,200 feet ) located approx 55 KM from the main Gangtok Town. After full day sight seeing drive back to hotel and rest for the day, dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

    NOTE :- In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.

    2) BABA MANDIR :- It is situated about to 52 Km from the main Darjeeling Town at an elevation of 13,123 feet between Nathula & Jelepla Pass. There is a true story behind this tourist spot, it is said that an Army Officer from Punjab posted on Indo – China Border named Mr. Harbhajan Singh. In the month of October 1968 he disappeared don’t know where and after some days he came in a dream of his colleagues and said to make a samadhi here. It is believed that he’s protecting India from the Indo – China Border in-fact his holy soul have experienced by the Chinese Army officers on Border.

    Day 8En-route Kalimpong & Sight-Seeing

    Gangtok – Kalimpong ( 75 KM / 3 Hours )

    Morning after breakfast proceed to explore Kalimpong (3,950 ft.). On arrival check in to your hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit Mangal Dham, Deolo Hills, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hill & Pine View Nursery. After done Kalimpong sight-seeing drive back to hotel and rest for the day, Dinner & Overnight stay at Kalimpong.


    1) MANGAL DHAM :- This Dham is belong to the Lord Krishna Ji and pointed in the main Kalimpong town. The premises of Dham is pleasant & peaceful. There is samadhi of Guru ji on the ground floor and temple on 1st floor. Also you can enjoy the sunrise & sunset which is blissful due to the high altitude area and clear sky. Mangal Dham also having a huge beautiful well maintained garden full of flowers.

    2) DEOLO HILLS :- It is a famous tourist spot among the travelers because of providing 360 magnificent view of neighboring snowed mountains and Kalimpong town. It is pointed at the en elevation of ( 5,590 feet ) above sea level and connects the two hills Durpin & Delo on which Kalimpong town is located.
